Can you cook?

Well?

Jessica. 11-08-2014 01:37 AM

Yeah, I can survive on my own cooking.

Jords 11-08-2014 02:15 AM

I can cook simple dishes...
-spag bowl
-curries
-fajitas/enchiladas
-minestrone soup

I dont feel any of the options cater ( :hehe: ) for me.

Niamh. 11-08-2014 09:30 AM

Yeah I'm a pretty decent cook

joeysteele 11-08-2014 09:33 AM

Yes, I got the job of doing so for 4 of us sharing a house while at Uni,I quite enjoy it really.

I am ex-chef-ional

lostalex 11-08-2014 10:29 AM

i make the best kraft mac and cheese this side of the mississippi.

I know how to make the noodles perfectly al dente, and i know just the right amount of milk to make it creamy, not too watery.

and i add some cut up hot dogs.

I can cook yeah. I'm usually waaaaay better at deserts though. Like baking and all that is something I find really easy and fun. Cooking mains isn't something I'm bad at but I flap about it a lot more because I always worry that I'm doing everything wrong.

Crimson Dynamo 11-08-2014 11:05 AM

I know what you mean. why does food always taste better when someone else makes it? I can't explain it. but it does always taste better when someone else makes it.

Josy 11-08-2014 11:35 AM

Yep

I enjoy cooking when I'm not under pressure or starving and I can take my time

Yeah, I think most people feel that way about cooking.

Jake. 11-08-2014 07:27 PM

No, I'd have the house on fire lol

I guess I'm pretty good, there's a lot I can do and I've been learning for the last four years or so. The last big mistake I made while doing a meal was I used this very spicy masala curry powder instead of paprika. It was a pasta dish and it tasted awful. My mom and her boyfriend politely ate it, anyway it wasn't intentional, I just wasn't used to the order the spices were kept in.

I also took up baking recently, although I've neglected that since bb has been on.

Braden 11-08-2014 07:50 PM

I rarely cook anything, but I would love to learn. My parents are the type of people who moan about how I don't cook yet never give me any guidance or help on how to. I know some people pick it up on their own, but I'm just not that type of person.

I'm jealous of people who can cook really well.

Vanessa 11-08-2014 07:52 PM

I can cook, but i just don't like it. In fact, i hate it. :joker:

Sophiee 11-08-2014 09:00 PM

I don't really ever cook much, but I can do the basics and I'm fine if following a recipe or cooking with others.

smudgie 11-08-2014 09:06 PM

I am all cooked out.

Cook as little as I can get away with these days, but was paid very handsomely over the years for my cooking.

andybigbro 11-08-2014 10:47 PM

I would say I can cook quite a bit.
