have you seen...

have you seen that brilliant new advert for Bravia LCD television .. with all the coloured explosions set on a council estate! .. Wicked!! better than that coloured balls in San Fransisco one. love the high rise block bit!!!

...I'm still not gonna buy a Bravia telly though! .. but if they want to give me a free one for saying how good the ad is, i'll take one!

ps, the music is the Overture for the Opera "Thieving Magpie" by Rossini , and was also used in the film "A Clockwork Orange", .. just figgured you wanted to know.

Thats where I used to live... In the maisonette bulding.. They demolished it after the ad was made.

Its in a place called Toryglen in Glasgow about 15 mins walk from Hampden Park.

I'd quite like HD TV. Unfortunately a Sky box costs about £299 plus the cost of a TV, and I got Sky + recently.

Diablo 31-10-2006 08:37 PM

Cool! :xyxwave:

I miss that place...

Lauren 31-10-2006 11:20 PM

I have seen it now, forgot to say so in this thread, haha.

Very nice advert  Thanks Diablo, was wondering where it was and what the story was behind it. :hello:

Diablo 31-10-2006 11:23 PM

It used to be a nice place and then it went way down hill and everyone moved away and they started demolishing the buildings. Good that they chose the place for the ad though.. :eureka:

Princess 31-10-2006 11:24 PM

That ad is so cool!!! Thanks James
