Which housemates have been the most relevant to the series and actions/incidents in the house, and which housemates had practically no relevance at all to what went on?

As much as I liked Matthew, he wouldn't have been relevant without Mark or Helen there tbh. The ones that were there for less than 3 or 4 weeks, I just judged them on how relevant they were during their short stay (Tamara/Biannca/Toya/Pauline)

It depends which actions/incidents each person finds relevant. I never care about the main storyline, so I follow and care about other things going on. I'm not really sure how I'd rank that, tbh. If it was purely on housemates relevance to how I've viewed the series + my enjoyment, then maybe something like this:

I don't think you can say some of them only had relevant because of another housemate, because you could just as easily flip that around.

The reason I said that is mainly because one HM would cause the talking points but the other would be linked to it by association (e.g. Kimberly & Steven). You have Kim quite lower than Steven yet she was pretty relevant to this series, however when she wasn't with Steven she was quite irrelevant. And you can't flip that around and say Steven was only relevant due to Kimberly's actions as he wasn't, it was mainly him. Hope that makes my point/meaning a bit clearer :p

Can I ask what people found so relevant about Steven? Genuine question. I just found him annoying from time to time, and without his Kim storyline, I don't know what else he brought to the show. What parts do people find memorable about Steven?

The question is about relevance, not who you like the most. Even if it was only one thing, Steven's relationship with Kimberly dominated a lot of the show and then also the aftermath of her exit.

I know but I don't think their relationship is all that relevant to the show tbh. I suppose I just used to switch off when he started going "you know I love you, don't you?" again :laugh:

I'm not asking this because I don't like him. I couldn't stand Pauline but I appreciate she was highly relevant to how the show has panned out
