Ash calling Helen a dragon

If your own friends call you a dragon and liken you to a pit bull terrier plus acknowledge that you are actually aggressive you think you might stop and think..........but no Helen continues to blame Ashleigh and goes into victim mode interesting development.

dyfed 13-08-2014 10:56 PM

Ash has come out with some one liners to express what he thinks of Helen ,the best was PITBULL.....

Rageofangels 13-08-2014 10:59 PM

Ash is a brilliant housemate.

VanessaFeltz. 13-08-2014 10:59 PM

Helen going into victim mode? What about Ashleigh likening Helen to her bullies at School? And tbh Ashleigh started this feud with open hostility towards Helen and cruelly trying to evict one of her friends in week 4 yet conveniently that's not bullying according to Ashleigh, but if Helen had've tried to get Chris out that week then Ashleigh and the public would be calling her a bully and every other name under the sun.

Btw I don't think that Ashleigh is a bully I'm just calling out a few hypocrisies.

In a car crash way I kinda agree.

Omelette 13-08-2014 11:05 PM

Ash is constantly being mean to Helen now because he thinks that the public hate her, which shows how much of an idiot he is - he doesn't care about the truth, only about winning and will even attack those closest to him to do so.

Well said Mock and you love both of them,so very balanced again as to what you see as facts.

As to Ash's comment, a friendly bit of banter between 2 friends, nothing more nothing less.

Creggle 13-08-2014 11:08 PM

Another blinder from Ash:joker:

Thanks Joey, it really bugs me when people are so bias towards a Housemate that they'll not be objective at all towards them.

Yes Helen is playing the victim this week, but so is Ashleigh, and Pav, Chris, and Christopher have been playing the victim for weeks.

Oh don't you ever get fed up of barrel-bottom-scraping Kistar?....It was a flippant throw away 'Joke'!....just like most guys make about the people they are fond of! ....[in this rare case for BB, I think it's more than a fondness!]

....or do you take every remark as true intent in your everyday life?? :smug:

:joker:Well said Lex.
I have a cousin who always charges in with all guns blazing at times, I call her the rottweiler.
We love each other to bits.
As you say, it is was a throwaway comment. Did Helen make any issue of it, no.
That is because she knew it was meant in fun.

you still dont get ash's sense of humour

kistar 14-08-2014 12:00 AM

If someone likened me to a pit bull terrier I honestly would worry , if my friends actually described me as aggressive I would be concerned enough to have a chat with myself .
Her friends lost her the trial because they constantly referred to her being aggressive ! If that's scraping the barrel then I hate to see what else came out of it because it wouldn't be pretty.

Creggle 14-08-2014 12:07 AM

If anyone thinks Ash's Pitbull and Dragon comments are anything but banter then you need to have a rethink. It's clear he adores her as a friend, and is joking about her flaws. If anything it's him openly accepting her flaws and admiring her for them, it's what most banter is about.

But can you not see that Ashleigh had every right to be hostile towards Helen when she was name - calling, fighting and being nasty with so many HM's? Why would she want to be in her company or be friends with her? Can you not see that?
As for trying to get Ash out - he sat with Helen and laughed and encouraged her when she was kicking off in those early days. Ashleigh seen Helen as a bully and wanted to weaken the laughing clique she had around her - and Ash was her bestie. Makes complete sense to me....
It's obvious now with the passage of time that Ashleigh likes Ash - and he likes Ashleigh and knows in his heart that Helen is a freaking nightmare.....

Btw I don't think that Ashleigh is a bully I'm just calling out a few hypocrisies.

..but I don't see any hypocrisies there Mock...she likened Helen to the bullies at her school because of those life experiences and how Helen and her 'clique' brought those associations ..how they excluded her and I do believe they did exclude her because she didn't immediately fall into their clique and was always wary of them...and Ashleigh's attempted manipulation of not wanting Ash to be saved was fairly obvious and tactical to try to diffuse that clique..at least she tried..?..it was 'girl power' so she couldn't get Helen out although no one has been able to try to do that anyway because of her immunity but I believe that without that immunity then many housemates would have tried to have her evicted and been successful long before now...but in 'targeting' Ash that wasn't bullying in any way at all, it was trying to manipulate against who she saw was closest to Helen for what to me was an obvious reason...and I also think that she happens to be more intelligent than Helen or uses her intelligence to better effect because Helen's intelligence is 'dumbed down' by her emotions and negative feelings toward people ...her spite gets in the way of any thought processes of being tactical or of 'sense' most of the time..she's only showing that sense a bit more now in not reacting to what she heard in the secret room because she knows not only will it reflect badly on her but it could help Ashleigh win and there again, it's sense but a sense with spite of not wanting Ashleigh to win as she would see that as 'getting the better of her'...she's 'blinded' by negativity...at least Ashleigh said that she would never want Helen to have the 'eviction' she did through the 'back door'...would Helen have felt the same for Ashleigh in the reverse..?..but of course, it was natural that she felt relief at her going...there are no hypocrisies here at all Mock...

Love the fact her only defence is I'm honest, I said it to your face, since when has being nasty and confrontational been the right thing to do. There is a reason wars start when being diplomatic doesn't work.

..yeah there has to be filters and boundaries regardless of a dislike for someone otherwise what an unpleasant world it would be..if her behaviour was equated to the internet and we all find annoying people on the internet etc at times and go off muttering how annoying they are but if we all abused and insulted them then we've only harmed ourselves by going to that level and it's also a level with no value and all it would ever breed is more negativity which is what it brings to Helen....
