Ashligh - not money orientated ? discuss

Ashligh - not money orientated ? discuss 14.08.14

yet again Ashligh is my topic
i am still a believer and no convert
but so its not intense and microscopic
Cansandra will enter with her funny advert.
Ashligh is a angel in disguise
i think she is a "prophet" from the "Bible"
what i am saying "God" will realize
no fear of disrepute or a case that is "liable"."
Cansandra" has got a cake
it was like offering a vegetarian "pork"
she looked more delicious then a "steak"
i would eat her and give her the "fork".
was Ashligh getting you depressed
are you a little mixed and disorientated
no way is this beauty money obsessed
Gods "angel" was then created.
back to Carsandra
her message was like my "sony"
she makes me laugh like the Meerkat "Alexandra"
so i propose to buy her a "pony".
Christopher has got a tattoo in-printed
its on his for-head even if he does shrug
i don't suppose it is "Mark" memory making him minted
but bucking the trend is Chris who is no "mug".
Helen proved how juvenile
it did not make me angry or cross
she has 10 years on Ashligh now smile
but on Friday we the "public" are boss.
back to my main objective
who is sweeter then honey
with the winner i am very selective
Ashligh's triumph is about her "child hood weakness" the reward is 100k money.

( did anyone see them adverts in-between BB with Casandra saying about the fork ? it took me a while to work it out but she made me laugh. i feel a proposal to casandra is due. back to BB - is anyone questioning is Ashligh money orientated ? )

Everyone would like money but some need money to make them happy.
I get the feeling that Ashleigh has a nice life & so money is not as important.
It does not mean she would not like it.

Amy Jade 14-08-2014 09:43 AM

They would all like the money and who can blame them?

So is that her fault ?.
It's better than sleeping with married men for money................

jessicadanielle 14-08-2014 09:57 AM

I think Ashleigh was asked "what would she like to be earning in 10 years?" And she replied "money ", not lots of money. Then she said she's not too bothered about money. (Maybe I misheard?) I see nothing contradictory about saying you want to earn money to live, but are not bothered about earning a lot.

 Constant demonisation of Ashleigh is so unnecessary. There are plenty of reasons to criticise Ashleigh without making unfounded claims that she's greedy for lots of money.

kefln 14-08-2014 10:48 AM

Ashleigh is 18 and still living at home, she's young enough to still be unsure what she wants to do with her life. Money might not, yet, be the driving force behind her decisions.

This, she has just left school, anything more than a few hundred is probably irrelevant to her up until now. The other hm's have had more of an opportunity to discover what money can do for them

Whether people like it or not it is a factor and to judge her without taking that into account is frankly silly.

I did not see anyone Ignore paulines age.

...I can't say that money isn't important to any of them and especially with some of their outside lived and would they hope to achieve from the prize fund but I wouldn't say Ashleigh's focus is any more on money than any one else in there..personally I think the prize money means more to Ash than media attention or anything else, it's just a feeling I get...

Everyone has different motivations for going in.

I believe, completely my opinion here, that the likes of Chris, Ash, Winston and Ashleigh, all went in for the exposure. In the acting/modeling world a known face opens doors.

Winston was a TV extra, he might be looking for bigger parts. Chris, I'd imagine, is in the same boat. I could easily see Ash on a billboard somewhere, BB is perfect for getting his face out there. Ashleigh wants to be a model, BB might help her skip the queue.

The money is nice, but long term, they might be thinking career wise.

..yeah totally and I think some could have earning potential far greater than the prize fund itself so it's not really that important but maybe it takes on more importance for them while they're actually there..?...I think especially now that it's all more about 'exposure' and becoming well known for whatever their reasons for that are....

Popularity helps, as does a little notoriety.

It must be awful to be there for the last week. The notion of winning the show, as well as the money must be on all of their minds. And the rift between Helen and Ashleigh would only make matters worse, neither would be trilled if the other were to win.

Then there is the crowd. For the last two months they have been cocooned. Being up on a Friday must have been torture, but there was always a chance that they'd stay. But they all are out by the end of the week. Fear is going to eat at them.

No matter what their reason for going in, the end is coming, and that unknown must be hell. But come next week they will be milking the publicity and talking to agents.

Course the major disadvantage for the C5 HMs is CBB which starts after they leave. Media and public interest swings away from them very quickly.

Speedster 14-08-2014 01:03 PM

It's rubbish-they all want £100,000 for doing nothing for 2 months other than sunning themselves and getting drunk at someone else's expense on their very own t.v show.

Er...haven't you heard? she works for a living,yeah, she's a model. She doesn't need anyone else's money.

Patricia4 14-08-2014 01:12 PM

They all want £100,000 only a fool would say no thanks.

sampvt 14-08-2014 02:24 PM

Her saying that she isn't bothered about money is because she hasn't ever had to work for it so it holds no value to her. One day when Daddy.s cash dries up or she gets dumped after having kids when her hubby sees his trophy wife is impossible to live with, then she will see what poverty can drive you to do and maybe understand Helen a little more. Till then she has everything given to her so no need to worry eh.

I am not sue your post is accurate as far as I know Ashleigh lives in a NIHE estate in Derry. What makes you think she's a sponger? I have never even heard her mention her Father or whether he lives with her or provides for her financially. Perhaps you could elaborate on where your information comes from and provide some evidence to back it up.

Josy 14-08-2014 03:44 PM

They all want the cash.
