What happened?

Had to come back to make a thread. I stopped watching this years BB but have just read an article to say Helen had won. I'm so shocked and ashamed to say I used to be a BB fan.

How could anyone with ANY sort of moral compass vote for such a person to win?

In a state of shock and feel so sorry for those who watched all series to see Helen get her commeuppance only for her to win. Disgraceful and embarrassing.

I'm so thankful I stopped watching!

cookiemonster 15-08-2014 11:14 PM

if you watched all the way through you would have seen that yes she is a bitch at times, but she is a nice person underneath it all. and i hope now that's she won and been through the experience she won't be the same person she was in the first few weeks

i didn't vote for her though btw, i voted for Christopher. but i don't mind her winning

So what you mean is you hid while your housemates were getting decimated and came back for the final cause you had no choice

Helen winning is the best outcome for BB this year, love her, and I hope CBB is half as good!!

lovebigbrotheruk 15-08-2014 11:16 PM

She's horrible. I haven't even watched and can already see BB have edited it to make Helen suddenly seem like an angel to justify not taking her pass away and the fact she didn't get chucked out after countless accounts of bullying.

Shocking and will certainly not be watching the next series (if there is one).

Samm 15-08-2014 11:17 PM

She was better near the end

cookiemonster 15-08-2014 11:17 PM

she's no angel, if we wanted to vote for an angel, we would have voted for Ashleigh (who incidentally was glad Helen won)

the whole point of bb is to redeem yourself and Helen has done that

I could not be happier tonight

There are many explanations, none make sense. Not a nice person, had no choice but to button it or be kicked out, people decided that meant she had changed, the rest is...

I should have stopped watching like you, allways loved BB but will no longer be watching when such a vile person wins, don't think she had a "journey" she just changed because she new how much she was hated, and most people fell for it !!

You haven't even watched and are claiming they edited her in a good light to make her an angel? :joker:

They did no such thing.

Jordan. 15-08-2014 11:21 PM

It's shows what a week of good/bad edit can do. This time last week most people were thinking it was Christophers.

It's really saddening to see a country - who are so adamant about anti bullying - vote for the bully to win.

A guess. I can'y see ANY other way she could have won.

CaudleHalbard 15-08-2014 11:23 PM

None of the housemates considered Helen a bully - and they lived with her. Even Ashleigh made up with Helen in the end.

I feel like you're embarrassed you fell for it. You just realised you've been fooled, haven't you?

I feel so bad for some of you!

lol. I'm sure BB had a good conversation with Ashleigh about how she should have a good ol' conversation with Helen and make up before they leave the house.

The country didn't. A couple thousand (if that) obsessed social network site fans did.

The days of a large proportion of the public voting on this show was over about a decade ago. :joker:

 Reason?

They wanted Helen to win because?

I'm deeply ashamed for anyone who voted for her. Sums up the viewing public really doesn't it.

They vote for people who they have something in common with :hehe::hehe:

Fell for what? I haven't fell for anything. I don't vote.

I'm laughing because you're claiming they gave her some kind of "good edit" yet if you actually watched the show you'd see both she and Ashleigh were surrounded in negativity until Thursday.

But I should believe you? Who didn't even watch? :joker:
