Favourite version of the Doctor Who theme tune?

Which version of the theme tune do you like the most? I'm torn between these three

2005

2013

Special variation for the 50th special

I prefer the Eccleston theme over the remixed Tennant one which seemed lighter. I liked that it sounded eerie.

I like the series 4 one with the drumbeats. I remember being excited every Saturday when I heard those. :flutter:

Hated the first Matt Smith one. Just didn't sound right to me. Series 7 one was ok.

Jarrod 19-08-2014 11:10 PM

Matt's first one was ruined by the thunderclaps and it was just... too basic.

Marsh. 19-08-2014 11:11 PM

Yeah, the thunder. God knows what that was all about.

armand.kay 19-08-2014 11:26 PM

Matts first one was awful even the tittle sequence.

Firewire 19-08-2014 11:27 PM

series 4 is my fave :flutter:

armand.kay 19-08-2014 11:28 PM

I like the classic tune because it's more spooky but my fave is series 4 because it's around when I started stanning and I got use to it.

Marsh. 19-08-2014 11:35 PM

Series 4 was when I got into it properly too. :flutter:

Donna will forever be my favourite companion.

armand.kay 19-08-2014 11:43 PM

My faves has to Donna and Martha >>>

Marsh. 19-08-2014 11:45 PM

Martha. :yuk: Sullying series 4 with her crappy acting. :fist:

Not here for you hating her she was fab and a huge improvement from the vile rose.
She's probably one of the few new companions who had their **** together, she single ha deadly helped the doctor get his memory back, She defeated the master all on her own, she ended up being a high ranking unit officer now she's a free lance alien hunter with her boyf. Martha is a bad ass. Her season would of been so great if the doctor didn't take years to get over rose.

armand.kay 19-08-2014 11:50 PM

Martha is also the hottest new companion imo.

Pete. 19-08-2014 11:52 PM

That's what I hated about her and that series, she was so wet for the Doctor and he was lovesick over Rose.

How strange. I just got an amazon email recommending Doctor Who DVDs.

I will admit Martha's thirst for the doctor threw me off but she had many redeeming qualities.

Never understood why they made the doctor so obsessed with rose he had been meeting and loosing companions for like 10 regenerations. In the older ones someone wold leave and he would be over it by the next ep.

One of his companions even died and he wasn't phased http://exhalecdn.breatheheavy.com/pu...lt/7i4sTyP.jpg

I preferred the theme from the old Doctor Who to the new ones. I didn't think it needed the orchestral additions.

dum-di-dum, dum-di-dum, dum-di-dum, dum-di-dum.

Jarrod 20-08-2014 08:12 PM

armand.kay 20-08-2014 08:21 PM
