It's always disappointing when some lives down to a stereotype, such as an unpleasant characteristic running in the family.

Stephanie is just another ****** from the Pratt clan. How refreshing it would have been if she had not shared those petty, nasty traits.

She has been very outgoing and pleasant from what ive seen.

I wouldn't judge her on Spencer Pratt seeing as she herself didn't speak to him for years because she thought he was a dick.

She is a lovely looking lass but she has got a nasty tongue on her.

Daniel I would have agreed with you earlier (I even made a thread saying as much btw)

But I changed my opinion of her a bit tonight in the highlights with her treatment of Gary for what I could see as her having no reason to treat him that way but to follow the crowd.

Then when Gary was chosen by Leslie to go outside she said to him 'That's what you get for being an asshole'

When has Gary been an asshole in there? seriously there was no need for it.

I'm shocked at the change I have seen in her over the past few hours.

She was nasty a few times in the highlights. The whole veggie sausage thing she just seemed really petty and nasty about it rather than saying kindly that there weren't enough. When Leslie had to make his decision, she seemed sort of adamant that he'd choose "the people that had been mean to him" rather than letting James and Audley volunteer. She also said she hated Gary iirc.. That is pretty nasty after four bloody days. She's got a sort of weird grudge against Gary it seems.

I didn't like how she treated Gary in tonight's show, I thought it was very uncalled for.

From tonight's highlights alone, I found it petty and unpleasant that she told Gary there weren't enough vegetarian sausages for him to have one.

This followed her having commented to other HMs how she disliked him. Apparently he is always smiling when he shouldn't be. It's pretty amazing he can smile at all with the crap that's being thrown at him.

I wouldn't judge her on Spencer either; that's why I find it disappointing that she seems to be no better. It would have been pleasing if she'd bucked the gene.

I like Stephanie overall but yeah I agree that was an arsehole thing to say tonight.

..I don't think she's malicious, I think she's just completely clouded by her affection for Leslie and sense of protection toward him and the people she feels have 'wronged him' and can't see beyond that to have any thought for Gary or Frenchie and how it is for them right now..although she might have been the one to say that it was her 'dream house' without them, by the others responses they all agreed anyway so it would really make them all 'malicious' I think but I don't think that's the case either...because of their initial irritations with Gary of having to repeat themselves, of him interrupting conversations and not realising he was doing it with all the various voices talking at the same time etc and just his lack of understanding all the accents in general..sadly I don't think they're going to ever see anything other than his fault and they're all becoming united in their dislike and intolerance for both him and Frenchie...

I hated Spencer and expected Stephanie to be the same.. I quite like her from the limited airtime she gets. I think she just says it how it is.

Please remember, we only see very limited edited clips. We don't know what goes on. Stephanie seems quite able of forming her own opinions of people... and if she believes Busey is an asshole, then Im sure he will have done something to make her feel that way... His smug grins to Leslie after WRONGLY "correcting" him on the meaning of CGI alone make him a bit of an asshole for me to be fair.. he knew Leslie was pissed off with him, so that stupid smug grin constantly at him, yes, it would have wound me up too...

Is it a "smug grin" though? I know it could look that way but it seems to me that Gary has about two facial settings and the middle ground that we'd maybe try to have in such a situation just isn't available to his facial muscles.

However, I admire your optimism that if Stephanie believes that he's an arsehole (please forgive my alteration to the non-Americanism there) then he must have done something to cause it.

I feel that her views aren't based very much other than what her friend/ticket to the final Leslie is doing most of the time. His perception, meanwhile, seems to be be based not so much on Gary himself but on his formative years of being tormented by 'rednecks'.

Yes, Gary is probably a pain to live with in many respects but there's a lot of baggage influencing Leslie's behaviour towards him.

My feeling on the vile pile of **** Spiedi is known to all ,but Stephanies not as bad as her vile brother, not a fan of hers and never could be, but she's the better of the 2 .............. upto now

As far as I am aware, no-one on this forum are privy to Busey's medical records so please don't try and explain the potential limitations of his facial muscles... Leslie is a whole different kettle of fish.. he does clearly have issues with Gary, based on whatever, but I have to say, Busey was wrong to "correct" him about CGI, Leslie was right, Busey was wrong, but Busey would not listen to him, he kept on repeating himself, as though he is the only one ever to have worked in films in the USA.. Hes an arrogant knob. Your Arsehole is my Asshole. Im sure I will get over it.
