So those childish ***** who DDoS'd PSN, BBC News and other high profile sites tweeted this earlier on (there's a Sony Online Entertainment guy on the plane)

The hacker group claiming responsibility for today's PlayStation Network outage sent a bomb threat, via Twitter, about an American Airlines flight carrying Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley. Smedley has confirmed he is on the flight and that it was diverted for security reasons.

"Something about security and our cargo. Sitting on Tarmac," Smedley tweeted. Polygon has reached out to representatives of Sony Computer Entertainment America, SOE and the Federal Aviation Administration for additional comment.

They might have gone too far this time.. they might actually get caught and charged with this kind of shenanigans. That is a hell of a lot of police and FBI time wasted on the plane incident.

Definately, SOE have told Kotaku that the FBI are now involved, there's no way those involved aren't going to get caught now, lol.

It wouldn't be so bad if they actually had a cause, but most of these attacks are just for the LOLs.
