Buseyisms

Gary's youngest son has Kawasaki Disease and was diagnosed when he was 14 months old (I think he is 4 or 5 now)

Anyway, the doctor that was treating him at the Cedars Sinai hospital asked Gary and his partner if they would help raise awareness for the illness so they started the Busey Foundation.

Gary creates 'Buseyisms' for words like he done with the T.E.A.M thing in the house and they sell those and also do other things to make money for funding.

So yeah most people probably know what Buseyisms are but just thought I would post for anyone that doesn't.

It also annoys me even more now the way Leslie brought Gary's child into the argument the other day :fist:

Thats amazing i didnt know about his own charity.
Thanks for the post Josy.
I just donated £10 i would rather spend what little money i have on helping somebody than pointlessly wasting it on silly votes for a trashy tv station.
It makes all the "i voted 50 times" posts seem so wasteful and silly when that money could have actually helped somebody instead.

Well done Josy, I wonder if that is why Gary entered the house for the money? I had a look at his page and it is very interesting, he has found something within himself which many are striving for. So far we havent heard him run anyone down, he has taken their criticism as a learning curb. He has put some right ie to Leslie "play to win not to run those you dislike down". He let the little monster have his way with the pool, listening to others shooing him away as well. I have never ever seen anything like that in all the shows I have watched.

That pool scene made me sick to stomach. 'The pool is mine please respect my wishes and leave Gary.' And not one fool said a word.

Thanks for bringing attention to it, bless him. I had not heard of the illness before now.

And yeah Leslie mentioning his son was appalling enough as it is, but that just makes it even worse now.

It tells you at the link in the op.

But here

Spoiler:

Quote:

Kawasaki disease is an uncommon illness in children that is characterized by high fever of at least five days’ duration together with at least four of the following five findings:
1.Inflammation with reddening of the whites of the eyes (conjunctivitis) without pus
2.Redness or swelling of the hands or feet, or generalized skin peeling
3.Rash
4.Lymph node swelling in the neck
5.Cracking, inflamed lips or throat, or red “strawberry” tongue

Kawasaki disease facts
•Kawasaki disease is a syndrome of unknown cause that mainly strikes young children.
•Signs of the disease include fever and redness of the eyes, hands, feet, mouth, and tongue.
•The disease can be treated with high doses of aspirin (salicylic acid) and gammaglobulin.
•Kawasaki disease usually resolves on its own within a month or two.
•Some children with Kawasaki disease suffer damage to the coronary arteries.

How can Kawasaki disease cause serious complications?
•Children with Kawasaki disease can develop inflammation of the arteries of various parts of the body.
•This inflammation of the arteries is called vasculitis.
• Arteries that can be affected include the arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle (the coronary arteries).
• Vasculitis can cause weakening of the blood vessels and lead to areas of vessel widening (aneurysms).
•Coronary aneurysms have been reported in up to 25% of those with Kawasaki disease.
