Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell
 

Deep Silver is continuing to tease a new game reveal it's planning to make at PAX this weekend.

An image, which you can see below, was released alongside the slogan "Something wicked this way comes..." as Saints Row developer Volition prepares to announce its latest project.

Speculation is rife that Saints Row 5 will be announced this weekend, though some people have been thrown for a loop by the presence of the number six on the image. It's worth noting that "666" is the Number of the Beast from the New Testament and, coupled with what looks like a Ouija Board in the image, suggests we could be seeing a slightly darker tone this time around. As if purple dildos guaranteed to cause internal bleeding weren't dark enough.

When we spoke to Volition's Jim Boone, he gave us some idea of what we may see in future Saints Row titles, though it sounds like it won't be long before we find out for sure. Certainly something's in the works, as voice actor Jay Mohr confirmed he's back recording lines for a new title late last year.

Volition was acquired by Koch Media - who also recently purchased theHomefront IP - following THQ's bankruptcy in January 2013. Last year’s Saints Row 4, like any future Volition-developed titles, was published under the Deep Silver brand.

honestly, at this point, they could just turn everyone's voices into fart noises and i'd still buy it

Oh it is out on PS4 and Xbone and thank **** they seem to be selling it cheap instead of a stand alone game like SR4

It's an expansion pack not a full game apparently, they're probably working on SR5 though.

Not sure how I feel about another half baked Saints Row. Would happily wait a couple more years for something as good as SR3.

I'm not too excited about Gat Out Of Hell but I'd be lying to myself if I said I wasn't going to end up buying it.

I'm probably not going to buy it considering how dissapointed I was with Saints Row 4 3.5 :/
