I didn't realise they'd been living on scraps? I thought it was just basic food.

None of them are literally starving and I doubt it would hurt too many of them to do with fewer calories for a week.

Although I don't approve on wasting food in general - I don't think this sulky behaviour matters too much on this occasion.
