mizzy25 31-08-2014 09:21 PM

I think lauren said about them being starving and said the word selfish but Claire said selfish cow I think anyway

chuff me dizzy 31-08-2014 09:37 PM

abhorson 31-08-2014 09:39 PM

38 going on 4 but looks 50.

Northern Monkey 31-08-2014 09:41 PM

Yeah it was Claire i think.Tbf i can't say she was'nt right in her evaluation.Still like Frenchy though,She just does'nt care.

Braden 31-08-2014 09:44 PM

They're selfish for suggesting that she should give to someone else imo. It was her meal to eat, and it's greedy of them to scoff it knowing that it isn't what she wanted to eat.

rionablue 31-08-2014 09:49 PM

By throwing it out she was disrespecting the person who went to the trouble of cooking it. BB ASSURED her there was no meat in it. I don't really like Claire much but if she called Frenchy a selfish cow I am in total agreement

Mystic Mock 31-08-2014 10:17 PM

Claire opened her mouth?

It was claire she fully joined the ranks of the rude, ignorant sheep after the first nomination, so did edele.

Gary said he wanted to eat it if she was going to leave it, silly moo she is. Mind you when my daughter was veggie she used to say quorn tasted far too much like meat and it put her off it.

ruiphillips 01-09-2014 01:28 AM

Queen Claire better get ha

Shaun 01-09-2014 01:30 AM

i've never understood why quorn try to make their products look and taste like the thing the majority of their customers want to avoid

Yes, that is really odd. I had some quorn cheese recently. It tasted like a cheap red leicester cheese, but the thing worst was that it had a really strong cheesy smell. It didn't make any sense to me that it smelt so cheesy. It isn't really cheese, so why make it smell like that? The strong cheesy smell really put me off, because I'm lactose intolerant and I associate that smell with feeling ill.

A lot of people eat Quorn because it is healthier not just because they dont like or cant eat meat products.
What do you expect a Quorn sausage or mince or chunks/fillets to look like?
As for the taste, unless to put sauce with them or flavour it, it does not taste like the real product imo.

Ellen 01-09-2014 07:07 AM

Yes it was Claire that called her a selfish cow, it was odd her saying something because she has hardly said anything since she has been there!

They aren't starving - they may feel that food is sacred just because they have been on a perfectly healthy but basic diet - but a little bit of hunger won't hurt them I'm sure.

You wouldn't do it if you want to be "friends" with them, but if you are unable to control your temper and don't care about the group mentality then, why not.
