Steps star Claire Richards responds to Simon Cowell's X Factor insult

After Cowell said he'd like to find another Steps but with more talented members, Richards tweeted.: "I'd like to find another Steps but with better people in it!!" What Simon!!!!! Maybe you should have signed us when you had the chance???!"
Former Girl Thing member Linzi Martin auditioned in tonight's show in what became a highly-emotional segment. The band were managed by Cowell back in the 1990s.

I thought cowell was bang out of order, Steps were an excellent group and it was sour grapes because he did not have them.

He's not even good at spotting talent, he's just a "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" kind of guy. He's crap. He's far better known for being famous than for being any good at what he purports to do in the music business, makes me so mad
