Will say Welbeck but I don't think either will get that many

Playing in front of Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey & Wilshere etc is a strikers dream.. Giroud could have 30+ league goals a season if he wasnt such a clumsy twat in front of goal so I think Welbeck will do alright, especially with his pace.

might as well have a prediction

Welbeck - 18 (will be benched in favour of giroud on his return)
Balotelli - 16

He betting not be fecking benched.

If he's banging them in when Giroud returns then he'll be fine, Giroud wasn't a £30m signing so there's no pressure to play him ahead of anyone else.

Not sure what I want. Whether him to be a success or not do much... :(

Balotelli is proven to be a more lethal goal scorer and will start more games, in a team that generally score a lot more too. How can anybody be so sure Welbeck will get more?

Balotelli will prob take penalties when Stevie Scouse isnt around but I think Welbeck will score more from open play.

Stick Sturridge or Suarez in our side and they'd be on 30-40 goals a season.. Giroud is ridiculously clumsy and bad in front of goal at times. If Welbeck converts the chances Giroud misses then he's well on his way to being a 20+ goal a season striker for us.

This. Any top striker will score 20+ a season playing in front of our midfield.

Barring any injuries I think the only games Gerrard isn't going to play are the majority of the Capital One Cup and the early rounds of the FA Cup. The reason he retired from England was so that Rodgers didn't cap his league/CL appearances.
