jessicadanielle 04-09-2014 09:32 PM

I got the impression he just felt awkward so bailed

Cherie 04-09-2014 09:34 PM

I hated that he walked away :nono:

Sophiee 04-09-2014 10:13 PM

didn't even bother standing up for him :hmph:.

Would have had more respect if Audley had spoken up instead of walking away tbh.

Northern Monkey 04-09-2014 10:15 PM

Jeez,Even Audley's scared of the Rotweiler

rusticgal 04-09-2014 10:19 PM

...yeah a bit disappointed there. However Audley has been consistent throughout and not got involved in other peoples arguments. I think he knows Gary can handle himself...had he got involved he would probably been slaughtered for it.

I forgive you Audley. :cheer2:

I agree, its the thing that disappoints me about them all that no one will step up and say this treatment isn't cool.

He was having a lighthearted back n forth and then those two suddenly got a little tense. He rightfully thought "this **** is nothing to do with me. Bye".

Audley likes to play safe and he's incredibly wooden and boring. He's nice enough, just not interesting in any way.

This, pretty much. Why should he jump into a dispute that he knows doesn't concern him?

If one of Dee's friends jumped in to defend her, I doubt people here would be happy about that, yet Audley's getting flack for not doing that for Gary. Gary's my second favourite after Audley, but I'm tired of him being held to a different standard in every single situation. Sure, sometimes it's necessary (like expecting people to make more of an effort when talking to him, etc), but a lot of the time I feel there's just a double standard.

He wasn't in a situation that warranted Audley's intervention. And, frankly, most people would feel awkward and get away if the two people they were talking to suddenly started arguing.

Yeah agreed. Sometimes it seems people (both FMs and HMs) change their mind on whether people should jump in and defend someone depending on which "side" of an argument they're on.

He's done with it all. He can't understand why they are all so impatient with the elderly man. Audley and dee even said he reminded them of their father. Is this how Dee treats her father? And she said she's not his carer, nobody asked her to be, but yet the whole nation have cared for you haven't they MAMA ****ING DEE!!

I agree and I was going to mention this. if it's a popular housemate it's brilliant when others defend them apparently, but if not then that person is seen to be the devil  definitely all double standards.
