Well yes, but why can't people give to charity anyway without having some fad that people will break within a week, behind it?

People do give to charity. Events like this help to promote causes.

Clearly the same thing.

LemonJam 07-09-2014 05:03 PM

I may do it actually. Either this or Stoptober: https://stoptober.smokefree.nhs.uk/registration-c

Not both though, I'm not a ****ing psychopath.

T* 07-09-2014 05:04 PM

People go out on clubbing and drinking on Halloween too, so about 79% will fail by the end

It's just stupid though, it's not about the charity, it's about people being able to gloat and show off that they're doing something for charity, there's plenty of promotion out there for charities as there is.

All things like that are stupid in my book, i can't see why people can't donate to charity unless there's some silly thing to get them recognition behind it.

Nowt wrong with the ice bucket water challenge. More people donated with than without, which is the most important thing.

Jake. 07-09-2014 05:27 PM

The ice bucket thing was quick/easy to do and was a bit of fun, sitting home watching the X Factor on a Saturday evening instead of being out and drinking isn't
