Constantly seeking reassurance from James

Every time George has a disagreement or an argument or is trying to be slyly nasty to another housemate he constantly looks at James for reassurance, he is such a spineless person, and if he doesn't get the reassurance he gives a little awkward laugh and tries to pass his rubbish off as a joke.

And the caller from the task was right about him, he joins in with James to a point and then lets James take the brunt of everything whilst he (George) plods off to the DR and says things like 'Oh James can be too angry at times' etc..

Agree, the caller called him a coward. A bit harsh, but he sows the seeds and then sits back to watch.

I agree with Josy....during his debate with Lauren tonight he was constantly looking at James.
What a complete childish twit he is. George needs James to have the courage to part with any sort of critism.

Freud would probably have a field day with this lot!

I wonder if James took heed of the caller's remarks and purposely held back in the 'Lauren - I've got the most to loose' rant ? He did seem rather more refrained than usual, thus exposing George's spinelessness.

Yeah George should just follow what Ricci does.
Get up and leave and complain to Dee.

He's silly to try and take on Lauren without back up.

Yes, I agree with all that, George has been for me an irrelevant housemate overall.
The caller was spot on as to all counts.

I wonder how George would be if James had never been in the house.

James is one of those people who makes picking on someone 'ok' because he makes it look like 'fun'. George does seem to go along with that.

When George talks to Gary - just the two of them - he has a lot more patience and time for Gary.

When James is around - George NEVER has that same amount of patience and time for Gary.

So James must be a bad influence - and George must be easily influenced.

You see it in school all the time.

I guess james just has that effect on people since he's the most intelligent in there :pipe:.

You see George look for affirmation with James a lot when talking to and about people. Sad really.
James has definitely influenced people and not in a good way and the fact he has to try and big himself up over him been 'intelligent' is even sadder imo

Not quite sure what has happened because we havent seen the full extent of the argument between Dee and Gary but James seems to be involved. It will be interesting to see the full thing, did Gary hear wrong or did James and Dee confer? I cannot remember anyone taking Dee on at all so Gary is in the doghouse with her. Nuts, I forgot that is where James and Stephanie said he should be.... Wow!!
