Earned Respect
 

The HMs keep justifying their behaviour towards Gary by saying respect has to be earned. However, there is an aspect of respect that a human being is entitled to.

How we treat people with dementia, brain damage, mental disease, and profound developmental delay says more about us than about them. Because they are feeling human beings, we accord them the kind of respect that makes sure they are well taken care of, physically and mentally.

The way in which we treat these people tells how we are as a people. The jackals in the house show no such regard, and BB must take some blame also.

An old man, in a lot of pain, reacts reflexively to fix his brace, and the lovely Dee acts like a Vestal Virgin who's never seen a penis, and James heaps opprobrium on Gary. It really would have been enough to calmly tell Gary that it would be better if it happened again, to ask for help. I'm sure Audley would help out.

I think you've been played lmao. So 15 people all say the same thing but you still take his side? When you tell someone politely to stop being extremely rude (if someone put there hand up to my face in a a signal to stop talking like they were the emperor I would flip) and they keep doing it that is on them. He needs to learn to be respectful.

I think the housemates know exactly what Gary is up to, he is playing the game, fair enough, but he ain't got them fooled.

Its interesting that all the gary haters need to get really personal about him, focusing on personal conditions/ailments in order to attack him. The arguments are weak to say the least.

The housemates have been much the same toward Gary, showing no common human decency toward him. I'm saddened if this is what our country has become.

Yes! Plus he is a 70 year old man that deserves some special allowances imho.
James on the other hand deserves a right hook from Audley

he didnt. only part of his full moon was visible for a few seconds, thats all....and only evil james had the privelige of witnessing the hollywood moonshine. james then did what you and dee are doing, grossly exaggerating to try and ruin garys chances in pitiful desperation......ps i hope you got equally or more offended when other housemates and the females in the last few shows got naked....i hope you were even more angered by biancas endless total body strip teases. at least garys was only a brief half mooon and done so to fix his medical condition in his leg (for which you show zero empathy or compassion)

Audley disappears into the background when there is a problem with Gary. He's never even been seen having a one to one conversation with him. Ever! He stuck up for Gary because Gary gets the most cheers - not when the argument was happening but when it was over and he could safely get his oar in to make himself look good. Arrogant, sly man.

good point actually. audley is playing a good , crafty game.

He's wanting the win very badly. Many are saying he could do it.

It's good to see Gary stand his ground a bit more now. Especially as he HAS made the changes they 'educated' him about and they STILL lay into him.

Audley, Frenchy, Lauren and Kellie never really had a problem with Gary though. But James keeps saying they ALL do - which is just another way of James trying to make Gary feel bad and feel that he is upsetting 'everyone' when he isn't.

Kellie said that he was 'playing' the old man card and Lauren says he keeps bumping into her. Audley wisely stays out of his way and then takes credit for sticking up for him when the dust has settled and there is no risk of actually having to interact with Gary himself. Very sneaky.

Also, notice that NO ONE was concerned about Gary. Gary was making noises like he was in pain. You could tell something was wrong. Instead of first asking him if he OK, asking what was wrong, or seeing if he needed help, other people had no concern and Dee starts yelling for James to do something about him. What a pathetic cow.
