Overplayed Songs
 

Those songs you may have liked once but then they were just over played to hell, then they end up on adverts, tv shows and so on and you now just hate them

I will start with the obvious...

Pharrell Williams - Happy

Ugh I hate Pharrell.. also Calvin Harris' summer is getting more and more annoying

that "right here, is where you something something, now im right here, ooh woah woah oooh ooh oooh" song is annoying me now, I used to like it

Happy is soooooo bloody annoying

Songs that I actually enjoyed until they were overplayed (because most in here are songs I never liked in the first place like Pharrell/Sugababes, or songs I've never experienced being overplayed like Kiesza/Jess Glynne):

Take That - Rule the World
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Adele - Someone Like You (used to adore it, now it's just a pleasant memory I guess)
Idina Menzel - Let it Go (great in the film, but can we stop now?)
Kings of Leon - Use Somebody (I like it, but criminally overused)
The Killers - Mr Brightside (a classic, but it's played EVERY night out and it's a bit of a chore now)

Also, Capital played Prayer in C about 10 times in a few hours the other day too..

I actually like a lot of these artists above, but these songs get so overplayed by them that it's drove me up the wall now when I hear them.
