He said I was joking, nobody gets my humour. So when he said Brad Pitt, and forgot, he didn't even get his own humour.

And half the time - he really aint joking anyway - calling Gary an idiot under his breath etc. That's not a joke - it's just a straight insult.

James may say he is 'only joking' but that's what school bullies say when the headmaster asks them why they teased someone.
