Louis described Ray as a one trick pony with his swing style, could the same be said about Ben with his rock style?

Ray is, Ben makes songs his own.

Ray! Defo! Hes just boring, i can't stand him, he's just one of those people i want to slap, as i said in another thread Ben can adapt his style of singing to suit any song, and it doesn't get boring, Ray is boring and has been from day 1 IMO

were as ben that same from day 1 - which will get boring

Ben is the least boring person there IMO, His style of singing is what makes him to likeable, and popular, he knows what the public like and he uses it very well, Ray is boring and i just can't like him, plus hes so cocky! Ben is very humble and takes every comment wether it be good or bad and works on it.

not cocky just has confidence - which make him better when he is on stage

Neither.They both just have a preffered style of singing and that's what they are good and I believe both have made songs their own especially in the week just gone by.

I always think it's best to be great at something rather than average at everything,it's not about versatility in the real world it's about finding your own identity as an artist and both Ben and Ray have that.

Also Ray's perfomance in motown week was not really typical swing and he can do both slower and faster songs.

They are both one trick ponies.

But as they say isn't it better to be good at one thing than nothing at all.

neither. they are both good at the style of music they do, so why change it? Most artists afterall only sing 1 style of music
