Why do members quit the CBB forum as soon as it ends?

I hang around for a couple of weeks at least. :)

Think you pretty much answered your own question in the title

Cal. 14-09-2014 09:30 AM

Nothing more to discuss. No matter what happens, as soon as it ends its no longer current and we begin looking forward to the next CBB and next civilian.

mrmattybeck1 14-09-2014 09:32 AM

Nothing to really talk about time for a good break

Denver 14-09-2014 09:33 AM

Smithy 14-09-2014 09:35 AM

Because they're only here to talk about TV

they should check out the chat and games, music, films and news sections though, there's all people talking on here :fist:

I am going to stay in the hope that we can share info and updates (and thoughts) on what's happening with the HMs.

Gusto Brunt 14-09-2014 10:19 AM

There's loads to talk about. Where Gary is, what's he doing, etc?

The spat between Edele and Steph. And Dee, is she gonna go back on the dole? :p

We have an xfactor forum...
Do people not realise they have a scroll wheel on this website or something?

Exactly this. I stick around to discuss the early XF episodes only because I enjoy the deluded idiots who have been told they can sing (by their loved ones). :D. But I stop watching once it becomes serious.

I will no doubt be back in January for winter CBB. It will be interesting to see if BOTS survives, or whether it is replaced by something else.

I have been on here for a couple of years. I only noticed the X Factor section last week. But I don't watch X Factor anyway.

Jamesy 14-09-2014 11:11 AM

Some people just come on here to talk about Big Brother, so when it ends they have no use being here. That's pretty much how I've been on here for a few years.

I only use this forum because of BB and CBB as it is the best forum for both. I am aware of other topics, but I've come to hate X-factor with a passion as it seems to have become more about the judges and who can dish out the biggest insult not to mention the terrible (so called) singers they put through, too much of the same old, same old. For the first few days after BB and CBB have ended I check just to see if there is any gossip but then that fades away and I guess that is the way with most forum members. When CBB comes back in January, there is a tendency to see (or look for) names of members that we have become accustomed to, and there is a kind of good feeling to see many of them back and it is also interesting to note new members. So until Jan - Ta-ra.

Big Brother Australia has just started, X Factor is ongoing and Survivor and Apprentice are coming soon, there's plenty to stay for TV wise.

Ch5HD should do a Follow up show

Pincho Paxton 14-09-2014 04:09 PM

The show shouldn't end with the winner winning. I think there could be a presentation show like the Bafta, where each housemate talks about the show, and the winner receives a trophy, and makes a speech. Not like BOTS, more like a dinner venue. They play clips of the show on a huge screen, and celebrate the best bits, and worst bits. That's how it should end. Probably on the Sunday night.

Now THAT is a fantastic idea !

Exactly what the show needs.

BOTS on final night is too rushed.

Give them 24 hours - and the wrap party - then come back and dish the dirt (especially about the wrap party)

HOW MUCH would you love to hear what they all have to say about each other once they've come out and seen some clips and moments of the main show.

Perhaps the BEST BB idea i've heard yet. Good work Pincho !
