The baby would get just as much enjoyment from crawling at ground level. Seems like the ego of the parents got in the way of protecting their baby.

...‘It’s a straight drop..'...I think the baby would be pretty much dead, whatever sort of drop it was...parents teach their children about danger and 'it's not wise to do that because...'..and then prop them on the edge of a cliff because it takes a nice photo/weird....

What if there was a freak gust of wind? or am I overthinking as a parent myself,i do think of all the scenarios that could go wrong.
