It’s been so long since we heard any new music from Gwen Stefani (almost eight years, to be exact) that anything regarding the big comeback that she’s currently working on almost feels unbelievable, as if it can’t really be happening.

The return of Gwen Stefani is actually a real thing though, and according to the Daily Mail, the 44-year-old just shot the music video for her new single, “Baby Don’t Lie,” in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Apparently, “Baby Don’t Lie” will premiere on October 6. Word has it that the song has an upbeat tribal sound, and was co-written with Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco.

This all still feels so surreal, but I can’t wait for reality to hit me on October 6.
