I think it makes it all a little silly. It's something you would expect a student to do on a film/television college course. Not a professional team creating a big show.
Even from a creative standpoint the sounds make no sense. The countdown I don't mind so much, although again is there really any point? It may give the evictee a little tension before they leave, but it doesn't as they are shouting goodbyes down the stairs and ignoring the countdown.
Get Big Brother doing the "you have been evicted" voice over, get the BB voice to also do the 30 second countdown into the house. Scrap the countdown outdoors, scrap the siren, keep the pop music when the evictee leaves, but turn the volume down so audience sounds are still audible.
At the moment some ways the evictions are made, the sirens, countdown, cameras waving around looking at the sky etc.. it all seems too forced and not natural. Most of all it is amateur and, with no offence to the BB crew, it looks like a bunch of college students have put it all together. They need to tone some bits down and cut out all these pointless bits that add up and miss out time that could be used for something like a longer evictee interview.
