How long do you take to fall asleep?

I take over an hour, easily.

Poll coming up soon

Marsh. 25-09-2014 12:57 AM

Over an hour? All the time? Jesus, that would drive me nuts.

Shaun 25-09-2014 12:59 AM

Depends  If I'm struggling to keep my eyes open already then only about 5 minutes, but if I've been up for most of the night doing nothing, then about half an hour, maybe more.

Depends really, if i've got nothing to do the next day then i'll just stay up until i get tired and fall asleep pretty quickly. If i've got something planned or have to be up earlier then its always on my mind and it seems to take me ages to get off.

GypsyGoth 25-09-2014 01:03 AM

I read for about 10mins before sleeping, if it's a good book, it could be anywhere from 30mins to an hour.

Redway 25-09-2014 01:39 AM

I'm a severe insomniac so it can take me literally hours (sometimes more).

Natalie. 25-09-2014 05:39 AM

Most of the time 5-10 mins, other times half an hour. It depends how I feel

Jordan. 25-09-2014 10:55 AM

I can't fall asleep until i'm very tired which is why I'm normally awake until 3/4am

Niamh. 25-09-2014 10:57 AM

somewhere between 5 and 20 minutes, I chose between 5-10 though cos usually it's pretty quick

Kizzy 25-09-2014 11:05 AM

I have problems sleeping but it's my own fault I don't ever 'wind down'.

Z 25-09-2014 11:24 AM

Sometimes I go to my bed with the intention of getting an early night and end up spending 4 or 5 hours not falling asleep and getting increasingly more frustrated by the time it gets to 1am-2am and end up having the crappiest night's sleep ever. Other times it takes half an hour maybe. I don't really have a regular sleeping pattern.

Smithy 25-09-2014 11:26 AM

Before I was working full time usually over an hour, it drove me insane, now I'm always knackered so it only takes 5-10 minutes :smug:

Marc 25-09-2014 11:54 AM

I don't really time myself Caitlin

joeysteele 25-09-2014 12:14 PM

Once I actually go to bed then as soon as my head hits the pillow, I am usually off in less than a couple of minutes.

LukeB 25-09-2014 12:23 PM

normally 20-30 mins

Sophiee 25-09-2014 01:07 PM
