Yeah a lot of studies do show that a lot of paedophiles become paedophiles because they themselves was sexually abused as a child.

Of course this does not excuse their behaviour and I hope nobody ever does excuse their behaviour because of those reasons.

In some cases you're torn between a tinge of sympathy and loathing when you think about what turned them into paedos.
