I found this website listing what it calls bulletin board codes

I notice some of them, like superscripts and subscripts are not working here.

Are we on a reduced range of BB codes, and if so why?

Those are simple machines BB codes.

We have most of them but the ones that we don't have just means they either don't work on vbulletin or like the superscripts and subscripts ones we haven't added them as custom bb codes.
