Has Cheryl Made a Mistake?
 

Unless she chosen a good wildcard it seems like Lauren is her only chance of winning :(

Yeah! She hasn't really got a strong vocal act! Lauren is good but I think she'll be overshadowed.

She had quite a bad category to begin with so hard to say.

I still don't understand how she took steph through over lola, emily and kerrianne

She took my top 3 in the girls so I was happy with it :laugh:

Apart from Lauren she doesn't have a very good category, so she was bound to have some bad ones in her top 3 no matter who she chose.

i don't get cheryl

she said to emily she needs a couple more years but emily was the most confident during boot camp infront of thousands.
but she said steph needs to work on her nerves :facepalm:

emily would of been better than steph, to me steph won't connect much with the public.

Emily is ****.
Lola isn't too bad but she's duller than dishwater.
Kerri-anne is overrated to high heaven.
Steph has a good voice and is obviously very likable considering how well her and the luminites did on BGT so she can obviously handle the pressure of live tv.
Chloe is just.. Meh, one trick pony, she'll have a nightmare with all of the theme weeks they have to do :laugh:

The only good one with potential to be incredible imo is Lauren, so whichever way she went, she'd have had three or at least two bad acts in her final 3, she has no chance of winning this year whatsoever.

i remember in 2008, Diana Vickers was favourite to win and Alexandra burke was like 8th or 6th or something for the first couple of weeks, then things changed.

But emily was robbed :(

I wouldn't have minded if Lola got through instead of Lauren tho. But the ending of that e was clearly setting it up for her to be brought back as the wildcard, IMO.

With regards to the OP... Steph actually has a pretty big fanbase. She is quite high up in a lot of online polls, and #ProudOfYouAlwaysStephNala (or something like that) was trending when she got through.

While I'm personally not mad on Lauren at the minute, she's the only one in Cheryl's category that will actually pull in votes.

Hope Lola gets through as the wildcard and it'll be a decent category.

All judges pick a wildcard from another category to go into that category, so yes, if she chooses Lola she'll be in Cheryl's category.

It's definitely the weakest girls catagory in a long time... Lauren is amazing but I don't see her winning.
