Do you like Lad Culture/Behaviour?
 

A lot of people love it, and a lot hate it.
Does 'Banter' leave you with a smirk or with a :umm2: face?

The word banter doesn't bother me at all, we were using it for a long time before it became a 'thing'

Lads don't bother me either, each to their own.

I like banter, that's not just a lad thing.. but the 'lad' culture itself disgusts me, it's just a race to see who can be perviest, it's gross.

I don't mind "banter", that's fine. Not necessarily a LAD thing either.

But the stereotypical lad culture in general, no I don't.

No... I don't find objectifying women funny at all and cannot stand most of the "lads" I know since they tend to be arrogant and cocky, it's just not my type of people at all.

I don't think that's solely confined to 'lads' tbf, even on here I have seen much more pervy conversations by members that aren't laddish.

It's not solely a 'lad' thing no, but the majority of them are all about seeing how many girls they can bed and who can bed the fittest 'bird' it's just demeaning and gives men a bad name, especially the 'lads' who think it's acceptable to cheat and be pervy just because they're boys and 'thats what they do'

A thread based around "lad culture" on a Big Brother forum where 90% of the males detest sport & talk in a sassy manner, theres only one way this thread is going to turn out.

It's just really cringe to be honest and most guys who act like 'LADs' are just putting on an act anyway.

I agree, It's annoying and cringeworthy.

What's that got to do with anything? People can like sports and not talk 'sassy' and still not like the 'lad' culture :think:

I know first hand from seeing someone I know change into a LAD stereotype after a haircut, so embarrassing :joker:

No, even the name lad is cringe on it's own, banter is ok only if you don't shout out "OH DONT WORRY ITS ONLY BANTER"
