Katie Waissel: 'Cheryl's been disgusting on The X Factor'

Waissel was mentored by Cheryl on the 2010 series of the show, but the pair later fell out after the Girls Aloud star made seemingly disparaging remarks about her in her book Cheryl: My Story.

Asked how Cheryl was getting on during this year's show, Waissel told new!: ""I'm in two minds. Some of the stuff she said is really unnecessary.

"She just has to remember that these people are from all walks of life and this is new to them.

"And for Cheryl - she's the only one who's been disgusting, to be honest - to make such comments, you're like, "Wait, who are you?" It's annoying - it's not even TV, it's just nasty."

She continued: "Simon Cowell's given her another chance. She should make the most of it. It's a bit of a s**t show, to be honest.

"I feel so sorry for all of those contestants up there, I just want to be like, 'Get off the ******ing stage! Don't do it!'"

Asked if criticism of Cheryl on Twitter has been justified, Waissel said: "Yeah… I don't think people should be hated against, but she's got a great PR team and they should be telling her, 'Shut up, why are you doing this?'

Waissel added: "If you asked me what Cheryl was like as a person, I couldn't tell you.

"She obviously didn't give a s**t about me, she put me in the show because of Simon. So why should I give a s**t about her?"

Waissel said of Cheryl's apparent decision not to sing on this year's show: "Thank God. I don't want her to sing through it, and I don't think anybody else does.

"She looks beautiful in her calendar but, no, don't sing, Cheryl. She can dance. But stop it."

im not Cheryl's fan and i have disliked some of the things she's done on Xfactor
