that young one (think he's called charlie) from the new boyband annoys me literally so much. he drags the group down :bawling:

There are a few of them that look out of place tbh. I don't think they would last long even if they become successful through the show, it's a mismatch of ages and personalities (probably).

They do not look right together IMO, they could easily cut half those guys and be left with a really great boyband, there are so many unnecessary extras in the group. I was at least hoping they'd do some choreography to try and fill the stage instead of just being a line of lads swinging their arms like orang utans - they just looked like a bigger version of The Wanted or One Direction as a result but with nowhere near the same amount of charisma.

I think if they took 3 out they wouldn't suffer any but in fairness 8 members isn't huge. S Club 7 did fine with only one less member.

S Club 7 danced, they sang, they were a mixed member group, they even had a song introducing all their names to the public and had TV series and all sorts to make sure the public knew who everyone was. This is just a mismatched gaggle of guys of all different ages, heights, sizes and abilities and it's just not very well thought out in my opinion. They don't look like a pop group.

Overload are massively overhyped. They aren't as good as One Direction. :suspect:

I think it's only because they already have a fanbase that they're being 'hyped' but I don't expect them to last very long if they don't improve in the coming weeks.

I didn't mind the groups lat night, I couldn't get Cheryl going on about 8 members of one,seemed a bit petty of her that.
I think Showaddywaddy had a large number of members, didn't So Solid Crew as well.

I think JoshBB was referring to the blonde member of 'Overload Generation' and yes, if Josh was, he does come across as annoying and seems to be taking on the role of the groups spokesman too.

I actually think names of both groups are a bit off, one is way too long and the new 8 piece group,well if that is the best that was suggested then the suggestions must have been really poor.

they'd be better if it was just James Graham (the one that can sing), Jake Sims (guy with plugs), Casey Johnson (the hot one) and Barclay Beales (the other hot one)

axe Tom Mann (jack from skins with a quiff), Chris Leonard (Nash Grier), Charlie Jones (the 14 year old) and Reece Bibby (the ugly one)

and yes i had to google their names... i only remember James and Jake :p

I suppose they will improve if they stay, but so far i'm not impressed. :conf2:

Doesn't change the fact there were 7 in the group and they did very well in their time.

No reason RK can't do the same if something clicks.

My point was that they/their team made a concerted effort to make sure that the public got to know all 7 members of the band individually. There has been no such effort for the 8 piece boyband.

Yeah there is just too many there could be potential if they picked the 4 best singers

The more there are the more fan girls eg if you are a young girl / gay you will prefer Charlie the 14 year old.

Also 8 members helps them stand out, if you cut down to 5 according to vocals you will arguably get rid of best looking two
