Cadbury scraps chocolate coins

The confectionery giant confirmed the bad news via Twitter - now an online petition has been launched to bring the popular Christmas sweet back to stockings. Christmas has been ruined for hordes of chocolate lovers after Cadbury discontinued their beloved sacks of chocolate coins.

The confectionery giant confirmed the bad news via Twitter yesterday, prompting many to question the company's decision.

Cadbury replied to a customer saying: "Chocolate coins have been discontinued however we have lots of other chocolatey treats to try."

Loved these as a kid. Doesn't bother me now because I have access to adult chocolate in the name of naughty videos but I'm sure there will still be other brands of coins anyway.

other brands?

I want the taste of cadburys, I am not here for lesser brand of chocolate

I am not a savage

Sorry Willy Wonka but you'll just have to make do. Poundworld do some nice ones around this time of year.

Crimson Dynamo 28-10-2014 04:11 PM

I had choc coins in my stocking and so do the small LTs

in fact they are the same ones (wood inside not chocolate)

but its the principle

Marsh. 28-10-2014 04:14 PM

Never liked them.

Give me a full bar or nothing at all. :bored:

Doesn't really bother me but I think this is a pathetic decision.
Anyway, when I do eat chocolate I prefer Galaxy chocolate.

Jamesy 28-10-2014 05:59 PM

Milka chocolate is always my favourite

This seems a pointless decision although there are loads of other substitutes around.
