Disappointed In Mel B
 

She was great during the auditions and boot camp but then when it came to live shows, I have seen a different Mel B.

I like her being truthful but she is not a good mentor at all! to me she has favourites! which is andrea and then paul. She has not been giving the right songs for jack or jake!

And then she said something unfair on fleur! making her out as a cheat! even simons acts says it's tactical. no judge should be able to tell lies to destroy someones chances, because that is cheating.

so glad I stopped watching that show :laugh: The Voice is so much better :idc:

Leah was robbed, I loved Jermaine last year though. The main reason I love though is for Will I am :worship:

I don't think Mel B can be solely blamed for people being bad.. The contestants are more than welcome to question song choices given to them, as seem with Ben and OTY :laugh:

And with the 'cheating' thing, Fleur's backing vocals were really loud over her voice, so i can see where Mel was coming from, i don't think she was trying to ruin anyone's chances at all, just stating an opinion, which i for one shared that particular week.

Seconded, Leah was the best, hands down :worship:

But Christina Marie should have won this year.

I still am preferring her to cheryl this year. I'm really hating on cheryl this time round she has really lost her spark! Mel b has lots of potential

she only interested in andrea and paul, she just gives random songs to jack and jake and pretends she likes it! it's obvious she got favourites, she needs to pick better songs, so she is to blame! she needs to spend time with all her acts.

mel b is in the studio though? she bound to hear it, i heard it from a tv and the sound is not as loud as it is in the studios. luckily no one took notice of her comments. even fleur doesn't know what she is on about. It's either that or mel needs to get her ears checked out

I can't stand Cheryl this year, i personally think it was a massive mistake to bring her back.

It's not her fault though, if the contestants aren't happy with song choices, then they can question them and work something out, like we saw Ben do, it's obvious that Jack can put his foot down because he refused to rip have his shirt ripped open, so he isn't some kid being forced to sing things.. besides, if he's as good as he's supposed to be, he should be able to handle things given to him and do them, Mel can't make him sound any better :joker:

Not necessarily, I've gone to some concerts and live things where i couldn't hear the person performing over the backing vocals, it's just an opinion not someone trying to 'ruin' someone else's chances, do you want her to lie and say she absolutely loved it instead of giving constructive criticism?

She was a bit annoying, but she had a beautiful voice, her version of Everlong was incredible :lovedup:

It is her fault, she supposed to be his mentor, it's her job to help him and advise him, that is what she got paid for! she giving the right songs to paul and andrea but she just picks random songs to jack and jake, which they might liked but it didn't do them any favours. Jack had a lucky escape from the bottom 2.

You're impossible to have a conversation with, you only see situations as black and white if it involves someone you like :joker:

You're stating all of that like it is pure fact, when in reality, it's just your opinion.. I have seen many people say they love her because she's the most honest judge and they agreed with her about Fleur, so you saying 'no-one knows what she was on about' was conjecture at it's finest.

Mel might give them not very good songs, in your opinion, but that doesn't mean they can't work with her to choose a better song if they don't think it would suit them.. and Mel herself cannot physically make them sing better, that's what the issue is, especially with Jake, he was awful, the best song in the world couldn't have made him sound good.

I'm saying it like it's my opinion.

jack and Jake would of been better with someone else! Mel b is not all honest, I mean everyone knew Jake was terrible Saturday and the other Saturday, because those song choices was just terrible for him! Simon would of done something about it, If Simon had the boys

Jake was terrible because Jake can't sing to save his life, nothing to do with song choices, the two songs he was given were actually pretty good and they would have sounded good if he could hold a note properly.

Jack and Jake never had the strongest or best voices anyway, so there are not many songs that they could really pull off and there are only certain types of songs that would suit their voices anyway :/

it is though, it's all about the song choices, it's important each judge gets it right! Ben even said, it's important to get the right song choices or you're going home. Who gives a weak singer, total eclipse of the heart (when it's obvious he will ruin it)? it's like giving Stevi listen by Beyonce (he's been good because of his song choices). each act has a song choice that is bad and right for them.

there are songs for weak singers and songs for the strong singers. Jake was bad but Mel B has never done anything about it.

Yeah song choice is important, but you can't totally blame song choices for people sounding awful, they'd do that no matter what song was chosen :laugh:

She hasn't been great though. It's clear that Raign was a better choice than Stevi Ritchie however Cheryl made it about herself and decided to bring in a joke act because she doesn't like raign.

Her personal vendetta against Queen Raign was disgusting.

Mel is the only good thing about this **** series.
