I like pencil best, but if you get the really fine tipped felts you can create good stuff with them.

Kazanne 01-11-2014 07:27 PM

Mmmm. I will see if I can figure out how to put photos on here.

Believe it or not I started sculpting as a kid using ordinary knives, forks and ordinary hand tools on large blocks of hard household 'scrubbing' soap. As I got older I graduated to Soapstone and wood then sometimes different types of stone.

I also use clay and have actually sold some stuff to friends and on market stalls (craft fairs) but - as with all things - life 'got in the way - and I only sculpt occasionally now, though I have just mended a damaged vintage cherub ceiling fitting by sculpting 2 new very detailed wings in 'DAS air-hardening clay' which I had never used before but was pleased with.

I am glad that you are into art because it is so rewarding. I will get some stuff on here for you to look at. :wavey:

That is really good Kaz, and I think working with felt tips is much more difficult than charcoal, pencil or pen.
