it was a little bit tricky
no straight center blue
my hands and throat got sticky.
i did have a little reminisce
1980's was the scene
how i thought jimmy's life was bliss
only now to find out he was not environmentally on the green.
was i to young to understand
or was the cover to good to sink
i still will shake his hand
for the game with "willie" for "children in need" and potting that pink.
now i see torment
he was a genius and not mellow
admitting drinking in every tournament
i was nearly driven to it watching "white v pankaj" and that yellow.
Queen will lend
in snooker you deserve the crown
flamboyant and outrageous freddie would defend
its such a shame you got hit by the brown.
a very bad habit
£10 000 a month went to the head
going at it faster then a rabbit
easier then potting any red.
you can do this Jimmy White
but it is no easy black
it is going to be tougher then any table fight
but i won't let you be potted by the crack.

i love old jimmy
he is so 1980's like tom and linda from gimmi gimmi gimmi.
jim davidson and him were a classic
the 2 were just magic.
1980's were a treat
just so sad noone else thinks jimmy is sweet.
