i'm not really that much of a gamer so this is based on limited experience and a hugely nostalgic rose-tinted vision but

Not sure if you like your personalised science fiction rpg's or not but if you do I cannot recommend the mass effect trilogy enough seriously.

I came into final fantasy at the wrong time mate. Final fantasy XIII on the 360. I know it's a bad entry point for a beloved franchise like that so it's hardly fair but I have trouble with JRPG's in general, they seem so melodramatic and out there to me. I enjoyed fire emblem awakening on the 3DS though, pairing up all my team into couples haha :joker:

Totally understand. Would definitely be deserving of an honourable mention for me, along with Mario Kart 8, Bioshock, smash bro's brawl and medieval 2 total war.

Tbh I wouldn't have had it in my list either if it wasn't for the extended cut and Citadel DLC.

I didn't really have a problem with the ending in the first place tbh. i mean it wasn't great but i never got big time upset about it. i guess i didn't put it in my list as i had sooo many different playthroughs on ME1 and ME2 but have only completed 3 like twice.
