tbh fair enough. This seems like a lot to most of us, but if you had an equal amount going into each state thats literally only 100,000.

he's desperate now, he fee;ls bad for being a foocking SHeeT president for the past 6 years, so now at the very end when he has nothing left to lose he figures, fookit, i'm gonna be rich for the rest of my life, **** America, i'm gonna do whatever **** i want.

BVut all of us who wanted Hillary in 2008 were called racists. ****ing morons that voted for him just because he's black. Obama makes Bush look competent.

why aren't they going into Canada or Russia then, Russia and Canada have much more land mass, so why shouldn't Russia and Canada be taking all these immigrants then?

and Europe(the EU) is actually a larger economy, so why aren't they taking more immigrants?

It's not about "taking" anyone though, is it, if he's talking about illegal immigrants who have already been in the country potentially for decades? He's not saying open the gates and welcome anyone who wants to enter.

Quite simply because Canada and Russia do not boarder Mexico. And just because we have "land mass" in Canada, does not mean it is free for anyone to take. All the habitable and producible land is owned and used. Immigrants don't just get put in the middle of a mass of land to do as they can.
For the record, Canada has a relatively high rate of immigration.

Could someone explain to me what is going on? I don't understand.

In regards to Canada - no idea at all. Great country.

Russia, maybe not so much. Many consider Putin a dictator and his laws unfair, that may be a reason why.

From Immigration Canada Website: Since 1990, Canada has had an average yearly intake of close to 250,000 immigrants.

Pretty much, Obama is tired of the republicans (conservative party here) shooting down mostly any bill that would allow any of his ideas to come to fruition.

An Executive Order (he can't do this all the time, I think he's only allowed so many) is where he can basically pass a bill without needing Congress (Our Parliament essentially) to pass a bill.

I do think Immigration in the US needs to be fixed but I think this will backfire.

Oh, give it up, already. He's been a great president, especially after the the previous 8 years before he entered office. He was left with a mess. Osama bin Laden is dead thanks to him for christ's sake!
