Love Island - Axed
 

ITV today announced that Love Island has been axed due to poor ratings and will not return next year for a third series.

ITV director of television, Simon Shaps said "I just don't think the public appetite as evidenced by the second year numbers was strong enough for us to bring it back for a third year. In the end the numbers weren't strong enough."

I guess everyone saw it coming.. :pat:

I dont really care, i didn't watch thr second series

No suprise really, can't believe ITV even attempted trying to beat BB they had no chance at all.

ITV just can never beat CH4. They should have learnt that long along!

Well BB8 is confirmed for Next year and C4 said a few days ago that they were very close to siging a deal with Endemol to keep BB for future years.

ITV should keep away from BIG BROTHER because they have Reality shows already like I'M A CELEBRITY and THE X FACTOR leave BIG BROTHER for CHANNEL 4

I'm not surprised either really, and I never watched it anyway so it won't affect me personally or any of my friends..
