..yeah I know, it's lovely to see them being opened...did you do one then, Caitlin..?...one year we 'followed' one from work and saw the actual one travel/reach it's destination and then be opened....that really was a 'cry' moment....

Incredibly moving, but the sheer delight of these poor kids is infectious and tempered tears.

As poignant as one of my enduring memories; that of about 20 little African kids sitting under a baobab tree craning and jostling to read one tatty old text book, and on the very day the documentary which this shot came from was screened, two local schools here, were burnt down by what proved to be arson by two pupils.

What a contrast eh?

After reading yours and Ammi's posts, I am a bit ashamed to admit that I didn't know about this particular charity, but I will now look into it.
