Real or Fake Christmas tree? Angel or Star?

I have a fake Christmas tree it's about a medium size and green I find it easier than a real Christmas tree because I don't like clearing up after I take it down I've only lived away from my parents house though for the past two Christmases and then one coming up and back home we had a real one always.

I have a star but at my parents we have an angel

Fake tree, I can't be dealing with the hassle with a real tree, plus we have cats so it wouldn't be a good idea

And as for tree toppers, we've never gone for the traditional star or angel, we've always just had some sort of.. Idk, artsy topper I suppose.. But this year I've convinced my parents to go for a glass snowflake one with LED's in it, it sounds tacky as hell but it's lush :flutter:

Idm with real/fake, but they NEED a star.

Real
Angel

`Convincing fake - no struggling with dropped needles and tree disposal. Usually Angel but moved homes now no height for Angel or Star so used a big glittery bow - looks OK.

(just read this back and it reads like Arista wrote it LOL)

Fake with pine cones and berries...pre-lit too so it's easy to just decorate.

Angel on the top.....

Fake plastic tree with a red star ontop (cause we're secretly communists).

Real & an angel, it used to be a star.

Fake Tree/Star

Crimson Dynamo 27-11-2014 07:45 AM

real

angel

we get the tree from a nursery 1200 feet above sea level and often when we go (you get to go into a little forest and select and cut the tree down), its been snowing which makes it an adventure.

We always used to have a real tree at my parents but those pine needles were so awful for weeks after, also standing on one of the little ****ers with bare feet was torture :fist:

I prefer fake trees. We had a real tree last year, which was a bit of bother. Used to have an angel on top, now use a star.

I have a fake tree, I've had real in the past but they she'd too much.

I put a star on top :)

Fake with (has to be tasteful) star

Natalie. 04-12-2014 05:49 PM
