Diva ?

Looks like Andrea thought he had it in the bag until last weekend.

'X Factor': Andrea Faustini 'Locks Himself In Hotel Room For 12 Hours' After Sing-Off With Stevi Ritchie

It appears 'X Factor' hopeful Andrea Faustini was just as shocked as we were to find himself in the sing-off on last weekend's show - so much so that he reportedly holed himself up in his hotel room for 12 hours.

Andrea ended up in the bottom two with Stevi Ritchie after the pair received the fewest amount of viewer's votes, despite being an early favourite to win the singing competition.

After being put through to the next round, the Italian fled the 'X Factor' studios in tears and locked himself in his hotel room, according to The Sun.

Despite staff on the show pleading with him to come out of his room, he apparently refused, choosing to stay put with only his sister Elena for company.

'X Factor' sources have said show bosses are now worried he won’t be able to handle the pressure going forward.

A source said: “Andrea was riding high and had an awfully long way to fall.”

Earlier this month, Simon Cowell apologised to Andrea after he criticised his performance during Big Band week.

Speaking to The Sun, Simon admitted: “I had a bad night. I had a really bad headache, I was really grumpy.

“I want to apologise to Andrea because I wasn’t being fair.”

He said he was a fat I-tie and nowt but a 1-trick pony

It was harsh but fair

How can he be surprised to be there? Does he think he is safe all the time! He is so cocky! I hope he is in bottom 2 again and actually go if he is going to act like a kid being told off.

Liam- 27-11-2014 12:55 PM

Oh yes, it's such a crime to be upset about being in the bottom two :bored:

Not everyone thinks they're safe and locks themselfs in a hotel room :idc:

Vanessa 27-11-2014 12:57 PM

The show is running scared now and pulling all the stops to get him out. I wouldn't be surprised if the song "Hero" was chosen on purpose by show bosses. Bad press, Simon negative comments, singing first. Yep : they're running scared. Imagine the humiliation of having an italian winning the UK X Factor. :spin:

I'm not sure about you, but I'd be upset about being in the bottom two as well, I'd want some comforting from family as well.. People are just assuming it's because he thought he was safe :joker:

I think this article is bull****. He looked perfectly happy on Loose Women. He was getting snogged left right and centre!

I would just take it, it's apart of life, how is he going to cope in the outside world  if you can't take being in the bottom 2 then he is in the wrong business. Only the young was sad to be in the bottom 2 they got on with it in the end, they never acted like Andrea. It's sad but lifes a bitch gotta deal with it

Liam- 27-11-2014 01:06 PM

I wonder if this story would be taken differently if it was Lauren of Fleur.. There would probably be outcries of 'aww poor thing!' 'Hope she's okay!' But no.. Andrea does it and it's arrogance personified :idc:

:clap1:

LukeB 27-11-2014 01:07 PM

No because Lauren and Fleur don't think they're safe and they won't be shocked to be in the bottom 2.

Of course they would be shocked. They think they're in the final already.

It would come as a shock to everyone, it would also upset them, I'm sure it would upset anybody, so if they locked themselves in their room because they were upset, would you also call them cocky or say they needed to go?

Shock to the public and judges yes
Fleur won't be shocked if she was in the bottom 2 i think she been there before so she knows how to deal with it
Lauren won't be shocked as well she keeps saying to people on twitter we will when i'm out.

Liam- 27-11-2014 01:23 PM

So you're saying people who are constantly being praised by the judges and who are being told that they'll be pop stars when the show finishes, haven't been in the bottom 2 this series, wouldn't be shocked/disappointed/upset if they find themselves in the bottom 2?

Of course they would be :joker:

Ive had a feeling over the last couple of weeks that the Andrea we see on live shows is not the one they see for the rest of the week.

He was the main one they built up through the boot camp and judges houses and maybe he thought he would be straight to the final.

To be honest hes always going to be saved by the judges while they have that power unless hes up against Fleur who i think the judges know will have a longer career in the spotlight.

His fan base has been dwindling as week after week on the whole the songs he is getting are "very similar". Big ballards are ok but lets be honest here...all the other acts have shown more variety.

I can see him lasting another week but i doubt he will make finals night.

A hot fav to win the comp at the start has now drifted right out to 5/1 and the bookies usually have an insight to who is doing best when the votes are counted.

It's very hard for acts who are not from the UK to get to the final. And Simon and the show is also pulling all the stops to get him out. Singing first, Simon negative comments about his appearance, negative press, choosing Hero. All designed to get him out. It's a miracle he's still there, when they managed to get Paul out so early.

Liam- 27-11-2014 01:31 PM

I doubt he'll go this weekend, but it's more than likely that he'll be out next weekend.. and in that case, he'll have done amazing to get to the semi finals anyway so I'll be marginally happy with that

I agree Vanessa but i think here in the UK you would have a better chance then any other country of doing well as we tend to forget about where people are from.

Remember Britains Got Talent was won by the Hungarian act and no one complained that they were not from Britain as the title of the show states.

Maybe they have seen something they dont like that we havn't.

The show is not an even playing field. They always get who they want im the final and get rid of who they don't like. It's Simon show and he controls everything. Andrea career will start once he's out of this farce of a show.
