Well most on here know how much I love the snow especially at xmas, I had been thinking we wouldn't get any anytime soon because of the met office saying it was doubtful but...

Don't worry Jakob the met office have said the frosty/snowy weather (if we get it) will push it's way down to England.

Perhaps the odd flake could be spotted around 1000 feet or above but the week is set dry and cold. Frost will be the dominant thing.

There is still no cold weather in the next two weeks forecast

Just been a walk across the valley floor, pure blue skies and -1C at 11.00. Half the valley is in sun and half does now now see the sun until February due to the steep sides. There is snow above around 2000 feet on the mountains this morning. All the puddles were frozen.

My two week forecast does not have your daytime max below 8 C so it looks rather unlikely
