Why does doing uptempo Music on TXF seem to make acts automatically entertaining?

And that you're a brilliant performer? It makes no sense to me as we've had a lot of generic acts sing a lot of uptempos over the years that get classed as “interesting” and that “you put on a show” it's really annoying to me because these acts don't have to put in as much effort a lot of the time to be classed as interesting like the ballad singers do (even the Diva ballad singers get it harsher in certain circles than uptempo singers) and fair enough if people like a bit of fun on TXF but just liking act just because it's upbeat is strange to me.

Am I on my own on this?

Where did I mention Fleur in my OP? We've had plenty like what you're saying that Fleur is like Olly Murs, Rough Copy, Alexandra Burke (only at least she could sing) Marcus Collins, Little Mix, and Rylan Clark.

because it is easier to sing up tempo songs.

Sadly, especially as to this years X Factor, there are only one or 2 who can really perform a ballad.
A real song as a ballad doesn't just require to be sung, it needs to be performed and felt.

Different emotions shining through from singing a song you are comfortable with and understand the lyrics of.
It is why this year especially, with singers that can sing but not really perform and read a song properly, once uptempo songs are performed then those up tempo numbers come across as having more credibility to them, and the slower more intense ballads come across as unconvincing and disappointing performances.

It's clearly just a bitter thread that Lauren isn't doing as well as you'd like in the voting and that the forum prefers Fleur over her.

The reasons for why people like Fleur annoy me tbh because a lot of it actually has nothing to do with her singing or performing.

And with Lauren she's got to the top 4, is liked by most people on the Internet and with the general public, and has survived 8 early to middle time slots so why would I be upset by how she's doing in the votes?

It's an actual genuine question that no matter what the style of the singer is, they'll be praised by certain sections of the public just for doing an uptempo, even if it's bland and generic.
