No one is less Christian than LT. |
Christmasneeve my ass you should swop names with LT :hehe:
I send about 20 mainly to relatives and close friends, they hand them out at my school like confetti, I just do one for each class, and I also do the neighbours on my Close whether they are Christian or not :hehe: |

The folks always send a bundle every year, I do think it's a dying tradition though in the age of email, social media and smartphones. Not sure if my generation will keep it up.

I like sending cards that I have written myself and either delivered or posted myself, I dislike these funky pigeon and moonpig cards being sent out.
I was talking to a friend last week who said she wasn't sending any this year deciding to make a contribution to a charity instead, I couldn't resist saying why not do both. My own 'only personal' view is if someone has taken the time to write and get a card to you, thereby thinking of you while doing so, that it is hardly a chore to return one to them. They may even be someone who gets very few, a card sent to them could really help make their Christmas. |
Always send cards to the family, special cards for hubby, son and daughter, the rest get charity cards.
The neighbours get charity cards as well and my three best friends get special cards. Never thought of the religious aspect, we have sent cards to our Indian neighbours for 21 years and always get one back. I never ever buy cards with either Jesus of robins on, tend to go for lovely snow scenes. |
