Quote:

The line up of celebrity contestants taking part in series two of The Jump have been confirmed.

The Jump 2015 starts on Channel 4 in the new year with another batch of stars taking to the slopes in Austria.

They’ll take on challenges including the bobsleigh, ski jumping, slalom skiing and speed skating.

But who will follow X Factor’s Joe McElddery and be crowned king of the mountains?

Those taking part include former JLS singer JB Gill and husband of the Queen’s granddaughter Mike Tindall.

Paralympic cyclist Jon-Allan Butterworth, Jackass star Steve-O, Gogglebox’s Dom Parker and dancer Louie Spence are all also taking part.

Then there’s TOWIE’s Joey Essex, former England cricketer Phil Tufnell, Heather Mills and previous CBB housemate Sally Bercow.

The rather huge line up continues, with Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Roberts, another X Factor singer in the form of Stacey Solomon, Strictly pro Ola Jordan and Lady Victoria Hervey.

FINALLY finishing the stars are Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thomspon and Heptathlete champp Louise Hazel.

Yess @ Louise Hazel, Ashley Roberts and Dom from Gogglebox! But lol @ this getting a second series.

Hope Dom and Steph aren't kicked off Gogglebox for him doing this and not being a 'normal person', but then again it's a C4 show so they probably don't care like they did with George.

Steve-o & Ashley Roberts are great.. the rest are quite annoying, Especially Joey Essex and Stacey Solomon, those two need to piss off. This is all going to be too easy for Steve-o whilst the others **** themselves.

Liam- 10-12-2014 04:17 PM

Steve-o is a nutcase, he's probably done scarier things in his sleep tbf, he'll more than likely be amazing

Ola has pulled out due to injury.

The professional dancer, 32, reportedly suffered "serious" damage to her leg and hips which may leave her "unable to dance at the same level"

Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan was reportedly left badly hurt during training for TV show The Jump.

Ola's career as an elite dancer is said to hang in the balance after she fell on an indoor ski slope.

She was reported to have suffered "serious" damage to her leg and hips while preparing for the Channel 4 show.

The injuries were "career changing" and could possibly leave her "unable to dance at the same level," a source close to the star said.

Polish-born Ola, 32, had been practising at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

She is now reportedly ruled out of both The Jump, which airs in January, and group dances on BBC1's Strictly as she recovers in hospital with husband James at her bedside.

Channel 4 said: "Unfortunately due to injury Ola is no longer able to take part."

Ola's agent said: "She's a bad way, it's not good.

"I've been with her all day."

The agent added she had no further information last night.

Ola has been involved with Strictly for the past eight years.

James, 36, left the show earlier this year.

Chloe Madeley will replace Ola Jordan on The Jump 2015 line up of celebrities

Dancer Ola was in training for the Channel 4 series last year when she fell while skiing and injured her leg and knee, ruling her out of the competition.

The potentially career changing injury left Ola in hospital in the run up to Christmas and she now faces surgery to help get her back to full health.

Ola tweeted at the weekend: “Had a good Physio session today. They said I’m ready for my operation on Tuesday. Fingers crossed everything goes well. Xxx”

DigitalSpy now reports that TV presenter and former Dancing On Ice contestant Chloe Madeley has now joined The Jump’s lineup ahead of its launch later this year.

At the weekend, The Jump host Davina McCall branded celebs “mad” for agreeing to take part in the series.

“I honestly don’t know what the celebrities are thinking signing up,” she confessed. “They must be mad, especially after seeing how many people got injured and how dangerous it was last year.”

Other stars taking part in the new series are X Factor’s Stacey Solomon, Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson and JLS singer JB Gill.

The Jump 2015 begins on Channel 4 later this month.

The Jump: Sally Bercow pulls out of Channel 4 show with fractured ribs

Sally Bercow has been forced to pull out of The Jump due to injury.

The wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons fractured two ribs during training for the Channel 4 show this week, according to The Sun.
Bercow is the second celebrity to be sidelined this series, after Strictly Come Dancing's Ola Jordan pulled out with a knee injury.

It has since been announced that Chloe Madeley will replace Jordan on the series, but a replacement for Bercow has yet to be announced.

Earlier this week, Louie Spence stripped off for a photo during a break from training in Austria, while Joey Essex posted a group selfie from the slopes.

JLS singer JB Gill, Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson, socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, Heather Mills and Stacey Solomon will also take part in the new series.

The Jump returns to Channel 4 in early 2015.
