Ola suffers serious damage preparing for reality show The Jump

Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan was reportedly left badly hurt during training for TV show The Jump.

Ola's career as an elite dancer is said to hang in the balance after she fell on an indoor ski slope.

She was reported to have suffered "serious" damage to her leg and hips while preparing for the Channel 4 show.

The injuries were "career changing" and could possibly leave her "unable to dance at the same level," a source close to the star said.

Polish-born Ola, 32, had been practising at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

She is now reportedly ruled out of both The Jump, which airs in January, and group dances on BBC1's Strictly as she recovers in hospital with husband James at her bedside.

Professional dancer, Ola Jordan has reportedly angered BBC bosses after an injury sustained while training for a rival show, means she is now expected to miss the final of Strictly Come Dancing.

Moreover, according to the Sunday Mirror, the show's choreographers had to quickly change the routine for Saturday night's semi-final group dance after she seriously hurt herself.

The 32-year-old, who was partnered with wildlife TV presenter, Steve Backshall, on the show this year, suffered damage to her leg and hips while training for Channel 4 show The Jump.

Hope Ola recovers well. Sod the uncaring, unsympathetic, BBC :nono: You would think that Ola deliberately fell and potentially wrecked her career going by them.

Hope she is okay

I think it was more the fact she was still under contract to them that has been the issue. Such a stupid activity to get involved in before her contract with the BBC is completed not to mention as a pro dancer .
