I dont know who he is either Ella but I knew George Gallaway

He's quite famous in Scotland; mainly for being arrested at nuclear bases and for not paying his poll tax.

Not very well known in the rest of the UK until the NOTW libel case.

I think he would be good in the BB house. Simply because he would be in the centre of many jokes and arguments.
I dont really like him though because I think he did cheat on his poor wife:bored:

SEX case politician Tommy Sheridan has been tempted - by a £100,000 offer to star in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Perma-tanned Sheridan, 42 - who won £200,000 libel damages over claims he had three-in-a-bed drug-fuelled romps and went to swingers' orgies - is set to follow in the footsteps of close friend and fellow Scots politician George Galloway.

Respect MP Galloway's bizarre antics were a nationwide talking point on Celeb BB4. He pretended to be a cat, down on all fours, purring and licking milk from the hands of actress Rula Lenska.

BB5 starts in the New Year and a source said: "Galloway was the first politician we had on and it was a masterstroke. He took the show to a new level, which Channel 4 were thrilled about. The producers are desperate to get Sheridan. They reckon it will be Galloway 2, which is why they are offering big money."

Other names in the frame for the show are disgraced TV host John Leslie, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff and 80s pop star Adam Ant. Socialist Sheridan's air hostess wife Gail, 41, is a Big Brother addict - and is urging her husband to go on the show. But his comrades in Solidarity, his political party in Scotland, are less keen.

Sheridan confirmed he had been contacted by BB and said: "Yes, they have approached me and it is very flattering." But, in a reference to Galloway wearing a red leotard on the show, he added: "I don't look very good in lycra."
