Margaret 'Your fired'

She perched next to Lord Alan Sugar and Nick Hewer in The Apprentice boardroom for five long series', before going on to interview potential candidates in the latter stages.

But it now appears as though Margaret Mountford, like many entrepreneurs before her, has also been fired from the BBC1 show.

The 63-year-old, who did not appear in Wednesday's night episode which saw Daniel Lassman, Roisin Hogan, Solomon Akhtar, Bianca Miller and Mark Wright grilled by four of the businessman's advisers, said she wasn't contacted to appear in the show for the first time in four years.

I missed her last night on the panel ....

Braden 18-12-2014 04:03 PM

Replacing her with Ricky was just offensive.

Black Dagger 18-12-2014 04:04 PM

Ricky was great...

But I did miss Margaret

Raph 18-12-2014 04:19 PM

Ricky was the best. But Margaret should've been there over one of the other three

Black Dagger 18-12-2014 04:20 PM

:nono: Claude is the best thing about the show when it's interviews.

Braden 18-12-2014 04:25 PM

Ricky was utterly pointless.

His hypothetical phone call with Mark just to make him look stupid was ridiculous.

I loved the old guy telling Solomon he was taking the piss and threw him out.

Not really. Margaret quit because she was retiring from her work and going doing a degree in something to do with Egyptology.

Claude was great, I agree. That being said, Ricky is my all time favorite apprentice candidate, so I was thrilled to see him there for the interviews.
